While I attended the game art and design program at AI, I helped design an action game. I created the concept art for the main character and villain. The images below are of the main character Mugrut. He is a jewel miner and his people are called Terrocians. He is tall, lanky and somewhat buff. Because he is a miner he carries around a rock pick, pouch to hold jewels in, and a backpack for supplies. The first image is of the initial concept, Mugrut has a ridged head and older looking face. With the second concept I decided to make Mugrut more appealing by making him look younger with a smoothed out head, face, and by making him less muscular. The third image is of the 3D model created in Maya. I designed it to be used as an in game mesh so around a 5000 poly count and single 1024x1024 texture. The texture is still in progress, for now I am just using dodge and burn to plan out the look, after I complete that I will clean it up.

Nice concept man! just keep working on it, and eventually youll have yourself a great game model. Keep us posted!
